Andrea Jane Corr, MBE Andrea Jane Corr, MBE is an Irish musician, singer and songwriter. Corr began her career in 1990 with The Corrs, a Celtic pop and rock band The Corrs, alongside Caroline Sharon Jim. Andrea Corr is Irish singer-songwriter musician. She received an award called the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire award. She is well known as an integral part of the Celtic rock and pop group The Corrs. She is the lead singer of the band and also performs on a variety of instruments. Andrea is a singer who made her debut acting professionally in the year 1991, later developed as an actor and stage artist. Playback singer for 1998 Warner Bros. animation film The Quest for Camelot. Andrea's career as an artist has many facets. The charitable work she has done has also received recognition. Andrea's stockbroker husband and two children are hers. Andrea began music lessons learning the Tin flute. Gerry was her instructor when she started learning the piano. Andrea plays the Ukulele. Andrea spent the teen years perfecting her musical abilities. She teamed up with her sisters and brothers in order to sing for the group. Andrea was a student of Dun Lughaidh Convent and was a part of numerous school plays.
